Welcome to the Fayette Regional Flying Club

The Fayette Regional Flying Club is an incorporated not-for-profit club based in La Grange, Texas established for the flying pleasure of its members.

Currently, we own a 1964 Cessna 172 Skyhawk, a 2003 AMD CH-2000 and a 1947 Aeronca L-16A/7BCM. Both the C-172 and CH-2000 are IFR certified. The Aeronca Champ qualifies as a Light Sport aircraft. All three planes are hangared at Fayette Regional Air Center (3T5) in La Grange, TX.

Joining FRFC is a much less expensive way to learn how to fly and get your pilot's license than a traditional flight school. We own the planes and operations of the club are delegated to elected members who run for positions of officers. Volunteer members perform basic aircraft maintenance allowed by the FAA. All other work is performed by professional A&P mechanics.

To become a member of the Fayette Regional Flying Club, you purchase a share from the club. Currently, a share costs $1,500 and dues are $130 per month plus $56 for one hour of pre-paid flight time.
